Impulse London is a volunteer-led organisation engaging gay men and the wider lgbtq+ community through events, advocacy, and meaningful connection. As part of the global Impulse Group, founded in 2009 by Jose Ramos, we are united by a mission to engage, support, and connect queer men while championing sexual health, mental health, substance use awareness, and social justice.

Since our launch in 2017, Impulse London has responded to the unique needs of our community, particularly around the chemsex crisis, by creating spaces for honest conversations and compassionate support. From bold campaigns to intimate gatherings, our work is grounded in community care and driven by the belief that every voice matters.

We are one of over 25 chapters worldwide contributing to more than 400 events annually. Our local efforts are led by four dedicated teams - Advocacy, Marketing, Events, and Operations - who volunteer their time and talent to uplift, educate, and unite the community.
